Resilience training

Resilience training aims to "cultivate human resources who can respond to various changes" that occur around us. There are opportunities and pinches in change, defining resilience as follows:

Resilience that can be used for opportunities

  • The ability to fully demonstrate the power you have and maintain your motivation

  • Ability to respond well even when feeling stress

Resilience required for a pinch

  • The power to get out of adversity

  • The power to recover from depression

4 points to increase resilience

Resilience can be acquired, and efforts from four perspectives are necessary to increase the resilience required for both “opportunities” and “adversity”.

  1. Develop stress response

  2. Build better relationships

  3. Do not stop acting with positive thinking

  4. Stay motivated

* We provide training programs that combine methods such as coaching and NLP based on our knowledge of positive psychology and brain science for resilience.

Part 1: Build stress response

Today, about 60% of the people are in a stressful society. (Source: Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare National Life Basic Survey) Stress includes good stress that accompanies individual learning and growth after overcoming it, and bad stress that has adverse effects on the mind and body (decreased mood, loss of appetite, increased drinking, etc.). .. To increase resilience, you need to control bad stress.

In order to improve your ability to cope with stress, in addition to implementing healthy lifestyles and stress relieving methods, you should be aware of and accept negative emotions that accompany stress, review your beliefs, and make positive meanings to convert to good stress. And so on. If you can control your negative emotions well, your resilience will increase.

Part 2: Build better relationships

A good relationship (bond) with another person makes that person resilience. Resilience and resilience are enhanced by having someone who is asked for help when faced with difficulties, who can overcome the same predicament together, and who can encourage each other. Also, when you are trying something, being able to understand and encourage yourself will be the driving force to achieve your goals without giving up.

To increase resilience, you first need to have an attitude of supporting the other person (altruistic feelings), which allows you to build a good relationship (win-win relationship) with each other.  Organizations also need the idea of servant leaders and followership to support leaders.

Part 3: Do not stop acting with positive thinking

According to positive psychology, resilience needs to be flexible and aware of the positives. When you are in a difficult situation, if you take a negative view of "why only you are like this" or "only bad things", your field of vision will be narrowed and your actions will be restricted. On the other hand, being optimistic about "someday it will be easier" and "what else can we do" gives us flexible thinking.

In an adversity environment, the adaptability and flexibility to let yourself be in the situation rather than pushing yourself through and optimism to see the good rather than the bad is a feeling. Resilience is calming, positive, and unbreakable.

Part 4: Maintain motivation

You will be more motivated when you are acting with your strengths.
You have a goal you want to achieve, you can forget the time and be absorbed in it, and even if you make a mistake, you can do your best. To increase resilience, you need to stay motivated.
To do this, you need to have a self-esteem that makes you feel good, have a moving goal, and have a sense of self-efficacy that you can do this.
Even in times of adversity, awareness of self-esteem and purpose can enhance resilience. As an organization leader, you need to be involved in motivating others. Creating a vision, explaining, setting goals, and keeping each member motivated will increase the resilience of the organization.

All training is in an active learning format that combines lectures and workshops.
